These Brass & Tin boxes are handcrafted in Japan in Torigoe, Tokyo. Skilled artisans use traditional methods to cut and hammer the metal in to shape. Each box has a lid and is ideal for storing tea or small items like jewelry, stationery, or a remote control.

Over time, these boxes will gracefully change color and age as the metal oxidizes. Joints are prone to rust because the product is designed without rust proofing for a vintage feel. Handling the tin with bare hands will add luster and depth to the container's surface, which is also brushed during the manufacturing process for added texture.
